Review of my first eye surgery!

As my upper eyelids became quite hollow, multiple creases formed, and because I kept using my forehead muscles every time I opened my eyes, my forehead wrinkles gradually got worse too. So I started considering surgery, but since it was my first surgery, honestly, an incisional procedure felt like too much of a burden. I went to consultations at several places, but most of them only told me, “With this condition, you absolutely need an incision,” and “You need ptosis correction together as well,” so I became even more conflicted. I had actually even put down a deposit at one place, but something kept bothering me. Then I had a consultation with Director Kim Hyung-seok, and after looking at the condition of my eyes, he said that instead of automatically doing an incision, enough improvement would be possible with eye fat grafting + the buried suture method. Since he didn’t recommend an unnecessarily excessive surgery, I eventually canceled my reservation at the other hospital and decided to go here. Before the surgery, Director Kim Hyung-seok really spent a long time carefully marking the line. He kept checking and adjusting a line that suited my eyes, so even during that process I felt trust. Right now there is still a little swelling left, but the upper eyelid hollowness has improved a lot, and the multiple creases have been smoothed out, so I like the overall line. When I went for a follow-up check, they gave me a scar-tissue injection and examined my condition carefully, so I was satisfied with the postoperative care as well. I like that I can now open my eyes comfortably without using my forehead muscles. Since it was my first surgery, I worried a lot, but overall it has improved naturally, so I’m waiting to see the final result🙂
