It has been 3 years since the surgery, and the line looked the prettiest at the 2-year mark. It was so natural and really pretty that people around me did not even know I had double eyelid surgery. After about 3 years, the inner corner of the left eye started to loosen, and the difference from the right eye became quite severe. It is almost at the level of a very thin double eyelid. The line was already different from the day of surgery. My mom and dad also said it looked uneven. The left eye’s inner corner was also not opened as much, so the Mongolian fold and the feeling of heaviness remained.
I went into surgery without knowing that it is common to wake the patient during sedation anesthesia and check the line. This clinic does not wake you up during surgery, so there is no line-checking like that.
I was 21 and wanted double eyelid surgery done quickly, so I only visited two clinics and went straight into surgery, but I regret it a little. I am now looking into revision surgery.
