I had double eyelid surgery about 10 years ago, but maybe because so much time had passed, the lines became really low like inner double eyelids, and the asymmetry got severe, so while I was considering revision surgery, a younger acquaintance recommended a clinic to me.
I’m not sure if their reservation system is well organized, but I had my consultation right away with almost no waiting time. The director only explained methods that could resolve the areas I was concerned about, without any excessive recommendations, so I decided on surgery right away.
Maybe the director works quickly, but the double eyelid surgery and canthoplasty didn’t take long at all. On top of that, after the surgery, my assigned manager kept checking my condition in the recovery room, so I liked that it felt like I was being really well cared for
As for the progress, at one week post-op, the line felt slightly high because of swelling, but there was no bruising and the line came out clean, so I was really looking forward to how it would look once the swelling went down
Maybe because I had the revision done with the buried-suture method, before even a month had passed, most of the major swelling had gone down, and the line settled into exactly the natural height I wanted. There were no scars either, so my friends said I had become naturally prettier and that it didn’t look obvious that I had surgery.
And once the swelling went down, the uncomfortable feeling I had when closing and opening my eyes became much more comfortable too. Still, maybe there had been some residual swelling left, because as time passed and the minor swelling kept going down, the line continued to refine. Now that it has been a few months since surgery, I guess all the residual swelling is gone, because it doesn’t really seem to be changing anymore.
The director said that looking at my eye shape, the line would settle into a semi-out line close to an in-out line, and doesn’t it really look like it settled exactly that way? On top of that, maybe because I had dual canthoplasty together, my eye shape itself looks clearer and bigger, and my overall impression looks more open, so I’m really happy with it:)
