I know it’s not a clinic with that many reviews, but whyrano First of all, I had also forgotten about it, but Director ㅇㅂㅈ popped up in my YouTube algorithm, so while I remembered, I’ll write a review ^^ I’m writing this quickly because I got bored while studying, so it may not be very organized. Please understand. Instead, I’ll write it conscientiously and honestly.
First, 1. The manager with black hair in a ponytail I really did not like her Reason: At the first consultation, I went with my parents, and my parents had quite a lot of questions. Maybe she felt a little frustrated, but she answered in a way like, “I said it’s ~~~, didn’t I?” It seemed like she also realized, “Oops,” because I could see it on her face. But damn, I felt so offended. I don’t know who a plastic surgery clinic manager thinks she is to talk to my parents like that.. lol She was like a young Park Yeon-jin! There were other things that upset me too, but when I revisited the clinic I didn’t really see her, so I’ll just write this much Except for this person, the other managers were very kind
2. Precautions after rhinoplasty The managers don’t explain this kind of thing very well The director said I could wear makeup from one week after surgery, so I tried it, but damn, it felt like the silicone was moving, so f... I got such intense chills that I gave up I didn’t receive instructions about cold compresses or warm compresses either, so I looked it up myself..
Now the surgery review First, what I wanted was: 1. I wanted the blunt-looking nasal tip to improve 2. My nasal tip was too round. 3. I dislike a Pinocchio nose 4. I wanted it to look natural
That was roughly it. In addition, my parents emphasized dozens of times that an upturned nose was absolutely not okay Materials: septal cartilage + ear cartilage + 3 mm silicone
1. Design They said the reason I felt my nasal tip looked blunt was because the nasal bridge near the glabella was a bit low. Before surgery I wondered what that meant, but after surgery I understood. When directors at other clinics recommended 2.5 mm silicone, only the director at NㅇD recommended 3 mm, so I was a bit torn, but I think it was good that I chose 3 mm. Honestly, even now I feel that 3 mm looks natural, so if I had done 2.5 mm, I think I would have seriously regretted it
2. Immediately after surgery (pain, bleeding, swelling, bruising, etc.) First of all, I had seen a lot of reviews saying rhinoplasty hurts, but because I went early in the morning, I went in without feeling nervous at all. When I woke up, everything was finished, and I felt really refreshed! It felt like waking up from such a deep sleep that I wanted to be put under anesthesia again? Blood flowed from inside my nose to the outside through something like tubes. I didn’t know at the time, but when I watch other rhinoplasty review videos, the bleeding is really severe. Mine was very little.. But on the first day, because of the cotton packing, I was honestly so freaking uncomfortable that I couldn’t sleep properly. Wow, my mouth got extremely dry and it was so uncomfortable. One day felt like a week. I once again realized how grateful I should be to be able to breathe through my nose I think the swelling was worst on day 2 or day 3 I kept doing cold compresses and later switched to warm compresses, and maybe because I also went for walks every day, I barely swelled and had almost no bruising And when I looked at the incision area of my nose in the mirror, the suturing was done extremely meticulously. Should I say it looked neat? I was a bit impressed while looking at it. Thanks to that, I don’t have any incision scar either. My friends ask if I had it done closed-method hehe
3. 3 months after surgery I developed rhinitis At that time, I didn’t know it was rhinitis. I thought it was a surgical side effect and became seriously mentally distressed Because I live in the UK, I couldn’t see a specialist. Ha.. From the outside my nose looked fine, but because it was swelling inside my nose, I was losing my mind. I contacted the clinic where I had surgery and asked, and I also asked my university professors and two GPs. Everyone said it was not inflammation and that I didn’t need to worry too much, but as the days passed, my mental distress got worse! Then during winter break I came to Korea and visited NㅇD Plastic Surgery, and they said there was no problem And they clearly said it was not rhinitis But when I went to an ENT clinic, they said it was rhinitis. Me, having rhinitis? I had never once in my life thought I would get rhinitis.. But they said it was not related to the rhinoplasty, and it also didn’t interfere with my breathing, so I just left it alone
4. 6 months after surgery I’m completely fine! My nose also looks so natural that no one knows I had surgery! The downside is that friends ask if I really had anything done But when you look at the before-and-after photos, the difference is clear. The pre-op photo is too brutal Most of the parts I wanted improved. But I guess there are some limitations in improving a bulbous nose. Of course, it’s much better than before, and now it’s at a level I can cover with makeup, so I’m satisfied I didn’t know this, but before surgery my nose was asymmetrical and a little deviated. They corrected the shape a bit during surgery. And I thought my nose had become crooked after surgery, but it turned out I had been walking around with my head tilted. Thanks to that, I now keep it straight. As for developing rhinitis, I just think of it as my fate and live with it. It’s not particularly uncomfortable either.. Um, and I think my nasal tip is a bit softer than before. Before, it was completely hard, but now it’s a bit soft, so I can move it side to side So far, I don’t think there are any particularly major side effects.
