Nose Surgery Reviews

My nose is so blocked when I breathe that I’m so annoyed, so I’m writing this

I’m seriously super sensitive to pain, so if I had surgery my nose would hurt, and I didn’t want other areas to hurt too. So for my first surgery, I didn’t use autologous costal cartilage; I used donated costal cartilage and had functional rhinoplasty with 4 mm silicone. There wasn’t a dramatic effect, but I was fairly satisfied. But then my nose became completely crooked. I said it had been crooked since 3 months after surgery, but the clinic kept saying they couldn’t really tell So from then on, I kept taking pictures of myself, and around September I went in for a follow-up, and they said they would do AS/revision for me. But then they said they would take ear cartilage again, so I said no. I’m now 3 months post-op, and compared to before, my nose has gotten even lower and the nasal tip has become really blunt and bulbous. So people I know thought I hadn’t had revision rhinoplasty, but had just had surgery to remove the nasal implant. There are seriously huge clumps of nasal mucus stuck in my nose every day, and when I take them out with a cotton swab, something the size of a fingernail comes out every day. One side of my nose has swelling in the nasal cavity, so if I turn on the flash and look, I can’t see inside the nostril at all. It’s so uncomfortable in daily life. Since I have to breathe through my mouth, my lips are all chapped too. They said to come for a follow-up in 3 months and then decide whether to operate again, but rather than have that clinic open my nose again, I’d get a third surgery at another clinic. Is avoiding big clinics really the answer?
