Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Square jaw and lower jaw: contouring review

Before surgery, my square jaw and slightly protruding lower jaw were always something I worried about. Even when taking photos or retouching selfies, I would always touch up the jaw area first, and even when I tried to make it look natural, I was often not satisfied because of my jawline. That is why, for a long time, I kept thinking I must do contouring surgery someday, and after much thought I finally decided. I compared several places while searching for a hospital, but during the consultation at the clinic my decision became clear right away, so when I consulted there for the first time, I immediately set a date and proceeded directly to surgery without visiting another clinic. During the consultation, I did not feel especially uneasy. In fact, the surgeon gave me confidence, making me feel that he could clearly solve my concerns, so I trusted him and entrusted the surgery. I wanted an outcome that did not change my face dramatically, but improved clearly while still looking natural and not obvious, and I felt that he understood this exactly from the beginning of the consultation. I brought photos of the celebrity look I wanted, and the surgeon said he could do it almost like that. After surgery, the result was very similar to the image I wanted, so I was very satisfied. Because contouring surgery is not a small procedure, I had some worry from scary stories I had seen online and heard from people around me before surgery. But after experiencing it, I felt it was a worry I should not have had, and if I am asked now whether I would undergo surgery again in this state, I can say without hesitation that I would definitely do it again. In terms of recovery, on the surgery day I rested for about 12 hours due to the effect of general anesthesia, and after that I had no significant difficulties. In fact, taking pain medicine made me feel uncomfortable, so from the day after surgery I stopped painkillers and kept taking the remaining medication while I continued daily life. I could eat normally and take light walks as usual. I never had a time when pain was difficult to handle, and I never felt the operated area itself to be painful. I had a few questions, and because of concerns about general anesthesia, I called, and the surgeon spoke to me directly. I also could contact the medical staff even around early morning hours, which made me feel secure. The major swelling seemed to have nearly resolved around post-op day 5 to 6, and now it has become natural enough that it causes no hindrance in daily life. There was no abnormal sensation on the jaw side, and by about day 3, sensation had returned naturally. If you follow the hospital’s postoperative precautions well, discomfort during recovery should be almost none. I could brush my teeth almost normally from day 4, and I had no inconvenience at all when eating. Even though I was discharged the same day, I still do not have any part of life that was difficult after surgery. After this square jaw/lower jaw/jawline surgery, people often asked me if I had lost weight, and I frequently hear comments that my face looks more refined overall. Before, I always had to pay attention to the jaw when retouching, but now I can hardly edit the jaw at all, which is so convenient. I can wear any hairstyle I want without restrictions. If there is one thing I regret, it is that I struggled a lot over whether to do cheekbone surgery at the same time. But after doing this surgery, I keep thinking that I should have done cheekbones too. I am already fully satisfied with the current result, but if I could choose again, I think I would have done cheekbones as well. Overall, I am truly satisfied with the result; because the improvement is natural, most people would not know I had surgery unless I mention it first.
