When I dug through my gallery, the only pre-op photos I had taken for comparison were side-view onesㅠ It’s a bit disappointing, but in a way I think the side view shows the pre-op state the best;; I had no upper-breast volume at all, so it looked empty and lifted away, and overall I lacked volume too ㅠㅠ Especially from the side, I really, really hated that gap that looked like a groove. And when I wore tight-fitting innerwear, if the outline where the bra was gaping showed, it bothered me all day.
When I was looking into surgery, the most important things I looked at were: 1. I wanted a perfect shape and cleavage with no gaping areas when wearing a bra 2. I didn’t care about the implant type, but I wanted to go with the largest size I could fit (I got 300-320 cc with Mentor Smooth) 3. Whether they were good at inframammary fold incisions without leaving scars - with transaxillary incisions, I could see the scar area a little in review photos, but with inframammary fold incisions, most people are wearing bras, so I couldn’t really tell how it looked..? So I asked persistently and specifically about things like how much scarring usually remains and how many centimeters the incision size is. About half the directors gave vague answers, and half answered accurately and clearly haha
On the day of surgery, I was half-asleep and half-awake, so I don’t remember much. I only remember coming home and dozing off while sitting leaned against the wall.. haha At first, because of the swelling, my breasts felt so full that they might burst, which was scary, but after all the swelling went down, they looked natural and didn’t feel awkward to the touch, so I’m happy with them. Especially, I didn’t want them to look obvious like upside-down bowls, and I think they were done naturally, like teardrop-shaped breasts.
When I run, I can definitely feel that the weight is different, but even after surgery, the size didn’t become so big that my back hurts or anything, so it’s okay haha The inframammary fold scars I was worried about have also faded a lot, so I’m living without paying attention to them.
