A fresh review exactly 24 hours after facial contouring surgery… I had surgery at ㅇㄹ near Seolleung Station with Director ㅇㅍㅈ and Director ㅎㅇㅅ. For square jaw surgery, it wasn’t so much that I wanted a slimmer look. After chin-tip surgery 4 years ago, there was a slightly protruding area in the middle of my jawline, almost like a secondary angle, and as I lost a lot of facial fat, that area that hadn’t been visible started to show. It bothered me so much and I wanted the line to be smooth, so I did it. I didn’t really have much of a square jaw behind the ears to begin with, so that wasn’t a concern. I emphasized again and again to the directors to shave off as little as possible. But anyway, since bone is still being shaved, there was more than an 80% chance I’d get a double chin, so I decided to do double-chin muscle tightening and removal of the grape-cluster fat (deep fat) together… ㅠ I really don’t want to have surgery anymore. This is the last one. I had double-chin liposuction about 8 years ago, so it counted as revision surgery and the price went up… On top of that, I also decided to reduce the salivary glands, so one thing led to another and it ended up costing like square jaw surgery x2 ㅋㅋㅋ At least the consultant asked the directors and I was able to get a slight discount ㅠ Then I’ll write the details below about the day of surgery and the progress on day 2.
Day of surgery I had to go to the pharmacy beforehand, but it was so far away ㅠㅠ Even though this is my second time, I’m so nervous I could die. I hate the smell of disinfectant so much. Waiting in recovery room 14:05 Surgery started 14:30 When I came to, it was 17:30 and there was a blood drain attached to the double-chin surgery area. There was less bone pain than with chin-tip surgery, and as expected, my throat hurt.. I guess it can’t be helped with general anesthesiaㅠ Still, right after chin-tip surgery, the chin-tip pain was pretty strong so I was shocked, but this time there wasn’t much bone pain, so I was shocked ㅋㅋ Discharged at 18:50, 4 hours after surgery started. The throat pain when swallowing saliva hurts the most. The surgical-site pain is better than expected… Will it hurt later?
The day after surgery (day 2) (Morning) I woke up at dawn because I needed the bathroom, and it felt like my face had started swelling. I became Moomin. As expected, my throat hurts the most ㅋㅋ The double-chin surgery area is throbbing too, but it’s tolerable. 10:30 It’s swelling more and more. Now even my neck, which isn’t related to the surgical area, hurts a lot. It feels like muscle soreness in the neck after doing sit-ups wrong. Maybe the inside of my throat is also very swollen, because breathing is a bit uncomfortable… Maybe because they shaved only a little in the square jaw surgery area, I can barely feel pain there. 17:00 Around 24 hours after surgery, the throat pain calmed down a little. Still uncomfortable when swallowing saliva or drinking water. The neck pain on the double-chin side is a bit worse than the bone pain. 18:00 The swelling kept increasing, but for now it has stopped puffing up ㅋㅋㅋ I’ve become a serious Moomin… My mouth opens better than expected, but my cheeks are swollen, so it isn’t easy to remove debris with mouthwash… I’m too lazy, so I’m mostly just drinking beverages and practically starving.
