Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Two rhinoplasty consultations! (Saegim, Epic)

Saegim / Director Kim / closed approach not recommended / open approach (nasal tip septal cartilage, silicone for nasal bridge, slight hump removal), possible to do only the nasal tip without removing the filler, but silicone recommended / alar reduction optional / glabellar filler removal / visit 7 days after surgery / did not hear an explanation about aftercare

Cost 5.5 million / photo provision + review discount 4.4 million / same-day booking 3.2 million

The consultant, reception staff, and director were all very kind, but I felt the director's explanation was a bit lacking. They did not show me before-and-after by drawing on photos, and said CT imaging would be done on the day of surgery. It was also my first clinic, and once I actually got there I couldn't think clearly, so I couldn't ask all the questions I had prepared ㅠ Since it's my first surgery, 5.5 million felt like a very large amount, and the same-day discount was huge, so I put down a deposit for now, but I'm not sure, so I'm still thinking about it.

Epic / Director Hong / closed approach not recommended / open approach (nasal tip septal cartilage, basic 3 mm silicone for nasal bridge, hump to be decided after filler removal and assessment) / cotton packing removal the day after surgery / splint removal on day 4 / visit on day 7 for suture removal / aftercare: 1 year of free revision if dissatisfied with the shape or if the surgery was not done well

Cost 3.75 million / photo provision + review discount 2.9 million

The consultant and reception staff were kind, and as soon as I arrived they took photos and did CT imaging. On CT, they said there was no problem using the septal cartilage, and when shaping the nasal tip they said they might use a little ear cartilage, but would decide during surgery. The director drew on the photos while showing me, so I felt it was more detailed than the first clinic. There was no pressure to book because of the price.

Saegim / recommended by a friend who had surgery there / director has long experience / not sure whether the high initial quote was because they are good and famous, or whether they just quoted high to see / a bit uneasy that the hospital name changed

Epic / I had looked into closed approaches online, but ended up being told to do open approach / fast cotton packing removal is an advantage / reasonable cost

For now, between the two, I'm more drawn to Epic, but I've heard so often from people around me that the best hospital is one recommended by an acquaintance, so I'm really torn ㅠㅠㅜ I regret that if I had known I would end up doing an open approach, I would have looked into other clinics too, but I live outside Seoul and it's so far that if I do more in-person consultations, I feel like I'll die from exhaustion.. I'm just going to decide between these two, so could people who have had nose surgery share costs or consultation details in private comments?? Even better if it's one of the clinics I wrote about!!! Please, I'm begging ㅠㅠㅠ
