I had side effects from ptosis correction, so I went for a consultation about retraction surgery. They told me exactly where the problem was and which area had been overcorrected. They were kind, and while looking in the mirror together, they pointed out the issues with me. I think the consultation lasted about an hour? It was good. Since only the ptosis correction sutures had been removed, the overcorrection was still the same. They said that when doing retraction surgery, it is difficult to decide what degree is appropriate for each person. I liked that they spoke honestly, and because of the side effects I was really fed up with plastic surgery, but after going to the consultation, I felt better. They said I need to watch the progress for 6 months after surgery.. For those who have had side effects from ptosis correction, I recommend making time to at least go for a consultation.
