I saw the blog, and because the aesthetic sense I usually had in mind matched the director’s perspective, I had a consultation for an overbite and a chin shape where only the tip protrudes. They explained at length why I needed surgery, but there wasn’t enough explanation about exactly what surgical method would be used. For example, they explained it as adding or not adding square jaw surgery to chin-tip surgery, but even when I asked what the difference between those two was, they didn’t give a clear explanation, so that was disappointing It’s natural to feel scared about surgery that involves facial bones, but whenever I asked a question that didn’t seem to fit their standards, I felt like they were making me feel embarrassed, so it was hard to ask questions. Still, I do tend to trust the expected surgical progress, so I made a reservation and came back.
