After paying 1.4 million KRW, I experienced sexual humiliation and even a failed procedure. Absolutely not recommended I paid 1.4 million KRW (Dual 2 course) to improve my nasolabial folds and jawline, and I was supposed to receive a total of 24 threads: 4 PCL threads + 20 Consentina threads. However, during the pre-procedure design process, I experienced extremely unpleasant and inappropriate physical contact from the doctor in charge. There was no change from the procedure at all, and the clinic’s response has been irresponsible, so I am leaving this review for the public interest. 1. Inappropriate physical contact: During the design process, the doctor pulled my body very close while I was sitting on the bed so that my leg touched the genital area between his lower body. It was extremely unpleasant and humiliating. I already felt terrible before the procedure even began, but I had already paid, so I regret that I endured it. 2. Design and vector error: Looking at the marking photos that were drawn hastily in less than a minute before the procedure, the threads were not directed to pull the nasolabial folds, but were concentrated only toward the area under the chin. As a result, there was no improvement at all in the nasolabial fold area, and there was no change in the chin area either. During the design, my opinion was not considered at all, and he dismissed my views with an extremely authoritarian attitude, saying something absurd like, “Your dimples are what make you look old! You need to have no dimples for the wrinkles to disappear! You need to have no wrinkles to live long!” 3. Suspicion about the number of threads (quantity): When I saw the prepared threads right before the procedure, there seemed to be only about 15 threads, not 24. When I asked the long-haired manager? nursing assistant? who consulted with me, I only received the ridiculous answer that “it’s because the threads are short.” 4. Hygiene condition: Hygiene management was a mess, such as preparing the procedure by placing the threads on a reused regular towel rather than in a sterile field. Also, the doctor’s gown had unwashed black bloodstains in various places. 5. Procedure process and aftercare response: Even though I had told them I would be leaving the country, and even though it was clear that the design itself did not carry out the procedure I had paid for regardless of post-procedure swelling, they only made excuses such as “wait one month,” “it’s because you didn’t get filler,” and “even if you come back, you will need filler.” Now they consistently ignore me even after reading my KakaoTalk messages. I originally wanted to receive a lifting procedure with thread lifting, not cover up the areas I was concerned about with filler. From the beginning, the doctor did not try to improve the promised nasolabial fold area with thread lifting, and seemed to resent that I had not added nasolabial fold filler. Throughout the procedure, he was extremely curt and unkind, asking why I was not getting nasolabial fold filler and saying I should have spent the money I used for i-Rejuran elsewhere on getting filler from him instead. It was to the point that even the manager who consulted with me, when I said during the consultation that filler was too expensive at this clinic so I would get filler elsewhere, asked me to say to the doctor, “I’ll get the filler procedure next time,” adding, “He will definitely tell you to get filler as well,” basically asking me to use that line to keep the doctor from getting sulky. Also, even though I had anesthesia, I felt severe pain, but I could not even make a sound and endured it because I was worried that upsetting the irritable doctor would interfere with the procedure. Even then, the doctor snapped at me, saying, “Ugh, why are you so tense~~! What hurts?!” So I tried to appease the doctor again and replied, “Yes, doctor, I’ll keep taking deep breaths,” but he got angry again and said, “Ugh, lift your head! Why do you keep lowering your head~~?!” His unprofessional attitude and remarks made me, already in pain, feel even more frightened. From the beginning, I should have been even more cautious when I saw the clinic’s strange atmosphere and the director’s bizarre behavior and remarks, but I deeply regret being deceived by the false marketing of “4 PCL threads + 20 Consentina threads for 1.4 million KRW.” When I looked closely at the review photos again, most of them seemed to be crudely Photoshopped face edits. I had returned to Korea for the first time in 3 years and wanted to get thread lifting during my vacation, but that opportunity was ruined too. I hope no one else spends a large amount of money, wastes time, and suffers emotionally like I did. I am currently filing a case with the Korea Consumer Agency. Please choose carefully.
