My eyelids were a bit droopy, so they were covering my dark irises. I liked having monolids, so I didn’t want double eyelid surgery, but an acquaintance told me that monolid ptosis correction alone could be effective enough, so I went to the hospital they recommended. They said that although it’s fine now, later on, the drooping eyelids could affect my vision, and my tired-looking impression could get worse. Looking at other people’s before-and-after photos, I liked the results, and above all, they said it could be corrected without creating a double eyelid line, so I had the surgery without needing to think about it any further. Just as the director said, after getting monolid ptosis correction, it’s much more comfortable when I open my eyes, and the tired-looking impression is gone. It even makes my eyes look bigger!! I’m so glad I chose monolid ptosis correction instead of double eyelid surgery that creates a line.
