I had a filler consultation because at some point I started feeling concerned about my nasolabial folds and receded chin line. When I smile, my nasolabial folds look more pronounced, and from the front, my chin tip looks short, so I was worried that my facial proportions looked somewhat cramped. The director examined my face carefully from the front and side, and explained that nasolabial folds are not simply a wrinkle issue, but are also affected by midface volume and sagging. So rather than just filling the nasolabial folds, it is important to support the area naturally, and for a receded chin, the goal should not be simply to make only the chin tip longer, but to balance the center according to my face shape. Since it was my first time, the director suggested putting in a small amount first, seeing how I respond, and then adjusting, which made me trust them. There was no feeling of being pushed into anything excessive, and they also explained realistically about post-procedure swelling, duration of effect, and discomfort.
