Hello! Today, I’m going to leave a review of my condition 14 weeks after receiving ptosis correction and incisional double eyelid surgery. I’ll write honestly, hoping it will be helpful for those who are curious about how things look after enough time has passed 😊
Actually, this was my fourth surgery. The reason I first had surgery was because my eyelashes kept poking my eyes. I had double eyelid surgery at another clinic when I was young, but as time passed, the line loosened and my upper eyelids became sunken, making the eye hollows look more prominent. Maybe because of that, it gradually became harder to open my eyes, and my impression always looked tired.
Makeup was always awkward too. If I made it even a little darker, my eyes looked too intense, but if I didn’t wear it, they looked too faint, so it was stressful every time I went out. Since this was a revision surgery, I looked into clinics very carefully this time, and while comparing several places, I came to know Director Lee Jun-hee at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam.
What I liked most during the consultation was that he examined the condition of my eyes really carefully. He explained exactly which parts had become problematic due to my previous surgeries, and instead of recommending an excessive design, he consulted with me in a direction that would create comfortable and natural-looking eyes, so I felt I could trust him.
After the consultation, I thought, ‘Ah, I could trust this place and leave it to them,’ and the clinic atmosphere was clean and the staff were kind, so overall it felt comfortable 😊
The first thing I noticed right after surgery was that opening my eyes had become really comfortable. In the past, I had to use a lot of force to open my eyes, but that discomfort definitely decreased. The swelling and pain were also much less than I had expected, so my worries about recovery were greatly reduced.
I was also able to receive swelling-care laser treatments for free, and with each session, I could feel the swelling visibly going down. Each time I received treatment, my eyes felt softer, so I was personally very satisfied.
I’m currently 14 weeks post-op, and now I definitely feel like the line has completely settled. There is almost no residual swelling, and I no longer have to worry about swelling every morning. When I smile or make facial expressions, my eyes move naturally, and I don’t feel any awkwardness at all.
People around me don’t realize I had surgery and often tell me, “Your eyes look clearer,” and “Your impression looks much more relaxed,” so I’m even more satisfied. Since it was revision surgery, I worried a lot about scarring, but now it doesn’t show at all with makeup, and even bare-faced, it’s not noticeable unless someone looks very closely.
Most of all, the biggest change is that my eyes have become truly comfortable. Even when I’m active for long hours, my eyes don’t get tired easily, and daily life has become much more comfortable.
Even after surgery, Director Lee Jun-hee checked my progress carefully, which made me feel really reassured. He regularly checked my condition, and I was able to receive aftercare without feeling burdened, so I think the recovery process was much more stable. Since I had a lot of worries because it was revision surgery, seeing the results now makes me feel that it was truly the right choice.
From consultation to surgery and aftercare, they paid close attention to everything overall, so my satisfaction is really high. I’d like to recommend Director Lee Jun-hee at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam to anyone who experienced discomfort from previous surgery or wants natural and comfortable-looking eyes.
Now that 14 weeks have passed, I’m really satisfied with the results! 😄
