Early the year before last, I had epicanthoplasty, and too much of my lacrimal caruncle was showing, so I had reconstruction, but it was overcorrected, so I waited for a year to have secondary canthoplasty.. Hoping this would be the last time, I trusted the doctor and had the surgery, but instead I only ended up with depressed scars at the inner corners of my eyes, and nothing improved regarding the shape of the inner eye corners or the eye length that I had mentioned.. Also, because of the scar from the previous epicanthoplasty process, my double-eyelid line changed a bit, so they said they would very slightly touch up the line at the inner corner while doing the secondary canthoplasty, but I don’t know if the doctor made a mistake, because they switched the double-eyelid lines on both sides. My eyes, which were originally outfold double eyelids, ended up looking like inner double eyelids They say I have to wait another 4-5 months for revision surgery, but if I have another revision, it will be my 4th surgery, so honestly I don’t even know whether the surgery will go well. If I try to live without doing it, my facial impression has completely changed, so I’m stressed and keep regretting it.. It feels like my life before and after epicanthoplasty has completely turned black-and-white. I didn’t know that epicanthoplasty, which I thought was simple, would become such a big issue.. If there are people who want epicanthoplasty, I hope you research it well and proceed carefully.. And if you think you have a sensitive personality, please be especially even more careful when deciding..
