Review of my first surgery with autologous costal cartilage at a well-known clinic

It’s now been one month since I had my first nose surgery using autologous costal cartilage at a well-known clinic! I had the nasal tip done without an implant, and only had the bridge slightly refined. It was my first surgery, and I was really worried because they said they would use autologous costal cartilage. But even right before anesthesia, the nurses kept talking to me and asking if I was cold, and the director also said they would do their best so I wouldn’t be left with a scar, so I think I felt less nervous. Those small considerations helped much more than I expected haha I thought it would hurt a lot, but it was only a bit painful on the first day, and from the next day on, it was definitely much better. Maybe because they sutured everything so meticulously, I feel like my recovery has been on the faster side too. I had my nasal bridge refined, but I didn’t even bruise, so I was able to go about daily life right after the splint was removed, and even right after the stitches on the columella were removed, the wound was already faint The best During the consultation, when I showed photos of the nose I wanted, they said they would keep that line but explained what direction would suit me better based on the overall harmony of my face, so I trusted them. I think it improved exactly in the direction I wanted. People I know say I’ve gotten prettier, but not in a “Oh, she got prettier because she had her nose done!” kind of way. They all say it feels more like, “What made her prettier?” and that it turned out so naturally, and even people meeting me for the first time compliment my nose and say it’s pretty haha I worried a lot because it was my first surgery and I was even using autologous costal cartilage, but now I’m living very, very satisfied! I take so many selfies too.. haha
