The white epicanthoplasty scar really disappears very cleanly. As for the scar tissue that protrudes a bit like a pimple... it has improved a lot, but it has not improved 100%, and each time I do another session, it shrinks to about 1/2 to 1/4 of its previous size, so it’s frustrating. I have to keep getting the procedure...
Still, this place had the best effect. The scar-tissue-specialist injection place I went to before reduced the protruding size of the scar tissue, but from a certain point on, it stayed the same even after getting injections. According to the director at Dr. Bom, injections only reduce the size, and stretched or protruding tissue has to be shaved down with a laser.
For those who are going here, just... buy a 3-session package and get the discount, and if you’re satisfied after 2 sessions, they say the remaining 1 session’s value can be applied to another procedure, so it might be better to do that and use the remaining money for Botox or something...
The doctor really did examine me very, very meticulously, so I trusted them and kept paying. I’m just frustrated that it isn’t being shaved down dramatically as much as I expected. But this is also hard to blame the director for... right after the procedure, it really looks cleanly smoothed out, but once it heals, there is still some protrusion, so I wonder if it’s something humans can’t predict.
