I didn’t really have an upper lip. My lips were small, and my upper lip was completely rolled inward.. So I went around for consultations without even hesitating. I don’t know about now, but in 2023, there really weren’t many doctors who did external philtrum surgery So I was so happy that I could finish my consultation rounds and decide in just one day. Director Lee Hyun-jik spoke with confidence, honestly told me what was possible and what wasn’t, and adjusted things well to a compromise right in the middle. Honestly, the recovery period does take some time. Up to 3 months, I seriously looked kind of like the Joker, and from around half a year it gradually started getting better. Now it’s my 4th year, and they just feel like my own lips. My tight, small-looking lips have been stretched out, so I’m so happy It was the biggest concern of my life, and I think I did the right thing by getting the surgery early~~
