I’m someone who has been under extreme stress because of my nose. I’m posting this out of frustration, feeling like I’m grasping at straws.
I thought the area between my eyebrows kept swelling because of illegal filler in my nose, so I decided to have surgery. I had surgery at a hospital 10 years ago, but the foreign material wasn’t completely removed, so because I wanted it fully removed, I decided to have surgery one more time, thinking this would be the last time.
I worked hard going around to many places for consultations, and after looking into various hospitals, I gained trust in one hospital where they explained everything carefully and the surgeon seemed really confident about the surgery, so I ended up having surgery on Monday, 2025.06.10. I wanted a nose with a round tip and a straight-to-slightly-curved bridge. I originally wanted Karina’s nose, but later, right before surgery, I handed over a photo saying I wanted Song Hye-kyo’s natural-looking nose. In the operating room, I confirmed that even a side-view photo of Song Hye-kyo’s nose was displayed on the screen, and then I was put under anesthesia. They said the surgery went well, and I trusted them. Three days later, I went to the hospital to have the nasal packing removed. As soon as it was removed, I saw that my nostrils were uneven, and I instinctively felt that the surgery had gone wrong. But I tried to comfort myself, thinking it might be because of swelling, and had to wait until the splint was removed. Seven days later, when the splint was removed,,,, I started crying... Both sides of my nose were sunken, there was so much scar tissue, and my nose was crooked, making it hard to breathe. On top of that, the glabella area was so swollen that it looked really disturbing.. I went with my boyfriend, and I still remember how, the moment he saw me after the splint came off, he couldn’t say anything and just looked at my face with pity Because the scar tissue and depression were so severe, they prescribed medication for about 28 days. After I took it, tiny millet-like acne started breaking out all over my face, and it was so, so painful. I was already having such a hard time because of my nose, and then my skin became like that too, so it was extremely stressful.. The hospital only kept saying there was nothing they could do,,, I was really angry, but I think I endured it by telling myself that time would solve it.
The types of surgery I had on June 10 were: Functional nasal surgery (inferior turbinate reduction, deviated septum correction) Foreign material removal, hump correction, nasolabial angle correction (short nose), depressed columella, incisional alar reduction Silicone implant replacement for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage for the nasal tip

The hospital said that because of the foreign material, they had to remove a lot of tissue, so swelling was unavoidable. (Because there was a lot of nasal scar tissue, I received scar-tissue injections in my nose every time I went to the hospital.) (I think I wore a retainer for about one or two months.)

I told the hospital that the retainer kept falling out, but they said it fit well and didn’t replace it.
When I asked why my nose was sunken, they said that was also because they had removed a lot of foreign material, and that my nasal bridge was bumpy (the hospital had informed me that the bridge could become a little uneven), but told me not to worry because it would fill in after 3 months. But after 3 months passed and the tissue didn’t fill in, I asked the hospital out of frustration, and they said to wait until it filled in, and if it didn’t, they would fill it with dermis.. ha,,,,, On top of that, I said my nose seemed crooked, but they said it wasn’t and that it was because of swelling. When I asked again after 6 months, only then did they say it did seem crooked,,,, I was seriously so angry then,, Also, even though I had functional nasal surgery, I asked why I couldn’t breathe through my left nostril. At first they said it was because of scar tissue, but after 6 months they changed their explanation and said it seemed to be because the columella was protruding too much, so they should shave that area down a bit. And when the swelling started going down, I kept saying that there was a sound coming from the columella, but they just said that can happen in some cases and only recommended revision surgery... ha,,, I was boiling inside. From that point on, the trust I barely had left completely disappeared,,, (At that time too, there was still a lot of scar tissue, so I got another scar-tissue injection and swelling injection before leaving.)
As the swelling went down, my nose became even more crooked, and from the side, the starting point of my nose near the glabella began too low, so it looked as if only the tip of my nose had been placed on a tripod. On top of that, I had told them countless times to make the nasal tip round, but it wasn’t round at all. When I asked the hospital, unlike what they said during the first consultation, they changed their words and said they couldn’t make it exactly the same as the photo. So I asked if they remembered what kind of nose I had wanted, and they said, “Wasn’t it Karina?” At that moment, I felt like I had been hit in the back of the head,, I thought, ah, they didn’t even look at the photo during surgery..

They said they would do revision surgery after 6 months. (around January 6) I couldn’t trust them at all, and those 6 months were so painful, but I don’t need any of that. I just want a refund. I wanted to receive a refund after deducting the anesthesia fee and material costs. But the answer I got back was:

Is there really no way I can get a refund? Because of an event, I had said I would post a review on Babitalk, but they just said they would refund that and deposited the money. Honestly, judging from how they handled things, their tone, and their behavior, I really want a refund Please help me, please.....
