Chin advancement that I had been thinking about for 10 years.. I finally... had it done at a plastic surgery clinic!!! (While I was at it, I also had contouring/shaving done too hehe) It had been quite a while since I got a chin implant, but as time went by, whenever I smiled, the implant started to look more prominent in my chin. It showed even more in photos and videos, so I was stressed, and in the end I overcame all those long years of worrying and immediately started going around for hospital consultations
The reason I decided on this plastic surgery clinic was that, during the consultation, the director examined me very meticulously, and as we talked, I felt a strong sense of trust!! And above all, they said it could be done under sedation anesthesia instead of general anesthesia, so I liked that even more!! Honestly, I had been putting it off because I was so scared of general anesthesia
I was really nervous on the day of surgery, but after I fell asleep and woke up, it was already over (The nurses were kind too, and they inserted the anesthesia needle without making it hurt, respect bb)
And honestly, my swelling was soooo severe, for about 2 weeks it was seriously bad (a mask was essential...) Me, the person who went back to work just 5 days after surgery... (I went around wearing a mask)
The really major swelling lasted for more than a month, and the noticeable swelling lasted over 3 months! (Please take swelling-reduction medicine and walk a lot Warm/cold compresses too.. I think it was because I didn’t do much of that.. heh)
But more than anything.. maybe because I removed the implant and advanced my own chin forward, my chin looks so much more natural and prettier, and I can feel it hehe!!
It has been over 5 months now, and only minor swelling remains. It looks so natural that if someone saw me, they probably wouldn’t know I had surgery!! They say swelling continues to go down for over a year, so I want time to pass quickly so I can live with an even more natural and pretty look hehe
I really should have done the surgery much earlier Why did I drag it out for nearly 10 years... I’m so happy with the surgical result, and the director, staff, and nurses were all kind, so I think I’m satisfied with everything! Thank you so, so much!!!
