Eye Surgery Considerations

ItsB Community Review

A few years ago, I had my first rhinoplasty with silicone because my nose was short and low. At the time, I was satisfied as long as it became higher, but as time passed, I started noticing things I was dissatisfied with. The starting point of the silicone on my nasal bridge was too high, making it look unnatural. I also wanted the tip of my nose to be higher and wanted to lower my columella, so I started looking into revision surgery. I went for a consultation at a clinic known for good revision surgery, and the doctor examined me very carefully. They took a CT scan and checked every detail of my nasal condition. The doctor explained where the silicone started, how much higher the tip could be raised, and how the overall perceived length of my nose would change if the columella were lowered. After I explained everything I wanted, the doctor said it could be improved sufficiently. They said it was all possible: lowering the silicone starting point to make it look natural, raising the tip, and lowering the columella to enhance the length of the nose. The doctor also suggested an appropriate height based on my facial proportions and gave me plenty of consultation time, so I could ask everything I was curious about. After hearing the explanation, I felt certain. I was very satisfied with the consultation, and although the cost is a little high, I plan to have the surgery.
