I had epicanthoplasty and buried-suture double eyelid surgery. My glabella was really wide before, so my epicanthal folds were severe too... I already had uneven double eyelids, so honestly I didn’t consider that part much... I just did it together since I was already getting surgery... First of all, I recommend it if you want a really natural look.. Later, after the swelling went down, about 1 or 2 years later, I visited again and told the doctor I was unhappy because the epicanthoplasty had been done too conservatively and I didn’t like the feeling that the front of my eyes was drooping, so they did revision surgery for me again. At that time, they only charged a large anesthesia fee of 100,000 won and just did it for me. I did it twice, but I still want it opened a bit more lol My glabella was so wide that friends and people around me say it looks natural and pretty and that I don’t need to do any more... And for the double eyelids, some other clinics said they would loosen if I didn’t do incisional surgery, but they have held up well until now, and now I think they look very natural... However, they told me that doing this together would make it an in-out line, but the out-line does not connect at the epicanthoplasty area, so that part bothers me a bit now... Maybe because I did it twice, there was a bit more scarring the second time.. Since I look closely in the mirror and examine it in detail, that’s how it seems to me, but honestly other people don’t notice. No one knows I had epicanthoplasty unless I tell them lol As for double eyelids, these days people probably assume everyone has had them done..
