Even before surgery, my eyes were not on the small side, but I had monolids and a habit of using my forehead to open my eyes. I was also often told that my upturned outer corners made me look fierce. When I opened my eyes wide, forehead wrinkles would form... and when I relaxed my eyes, people said I looked sleepy... looked tired... All those comments were stressful for me. What I wanted was a clear cat-eye look while keeping my eye length, but each hospital gave a different diagnosis, like some saying I needed epicanthoplasty and others saying natural adhesion would be enough. After looking at surgery cases of people with eyes similar to mine, I became convinced that incisional surgery with ptosis correction was right for me, so I booked at the last place I had a consultation and had the surgery. I brought celebrity photos of the eye shape I wanted to consultations, and they understood the direction I wanted right away and recommended a surgery that suited me, so I think the surgery was successful!! Considering I had incisional surgery plus ptosis correction, there was surprisingly little swelling. It already looked natural at 2 weeks, but by 1 month, there was so little swelling that you couldn’t even tell I had eye surgery. Since I put in so much effort researching online and visiting clinics before getting the surgery, I’m very, very satisfied with the result!!
