I Had Surgery for a Hump Nose

I had seriously injured my nose area when I was young, so I developed a hump. I had that corrected, and since the tip of my nose was also a bit round and bulbous, I had osteotomy done as well. I also had severe chronic rhinitis, so I had functional nose surgery at the same time! It has now been 3 months since the surgery, and the major swelling has gone down. I had the procedure done at a clinic, and the biggest merit was that it specializes in noses. During the consultation with the director, he explained even the really detailed aspects of my nose. Maybe because he is an otolaryngology specialist, he explained the nasal structure, what surgical methods would be used, the materials, and so on in great detail. After the consultation, I think I decided that I should have surgery at this clinic. Oh, and at other clinics, they recommended things like donated costal cartilage or silicone, but the director said surgery would be fully possible using only my own cartilage, so I think I liked that even more. For the rhinitis surgery, maybe because he is definitely an otolaryngology specialist, my nose felt completely clear starting around the 1-month mark. The director said it would take about 6 months for even the minor swelling to go down, so I’m waiting for that now. My nose is getting slimmer day by day, which makes me so happy, and breathing has become so comfortable that I can barely remember how I used to live with rhinitis all the time~ If you have a hump nose or bulbous nose and are considering surgery without implants, I recommend this clinic!
