First of all, before surgery, I was really stressed because my nasal bridge was low and my nostrils were wide, and on top of that I had a slight hump nose, so every time I took photos, I kept noticing my nose first That’s why I didn’t really like taking photos before, and I barely have any photos left… I had only been worrying about it since I was a student, but this time I finally made up my mind and started looking into rhinoplasty. I especially searched mainly for plastic surgery clinics in Seomyeon, and I honestly feel like I lived in communities like this one, Gangnam Unni, and YeowooYa for almost a year I went to consultations at about 8 places in total. After visiting several places, I realized each hospital has a different style they pursue, different directions they recommend, and very different consultation atmospheres, so comparing them definitely helped. No matter how much research I did before going, it was also good that I could learn more details by talking directly with specialists in the end!! Among them, I narrowed it down to ㅇㅇㅇㅋ and one other place, then had one additional consultation at each, and after thinking it over, I decided on ㅇㅇㅇㅋ. The director had a long career, I liked that it was a single-director clinic, and above all, from the first consultation, they talked about making my nose look naturally refined rather than excessive, and that was what I liked most!! Also, the AS period is 3 years, which is relatively long, so I liked that too. There was a little waiting time each time I went, but it wasn’t enough to really bother me. It didn’t feel like they were being careless with the consultation or explanation, and overall it proceeded calmly, so it was fine. (The consultation with the director tends to move quickly through only the necessary points, so my friend said it felt a bit careless, but maybe because I prepared a lot of questions for the second consultation, they answered each one kindly, so I was fairly satisfied! If you’re going for a consultation, I recommend writing down your questions in advance and asking them!!) For the surgery, I had a nasal bridge implant, nostril reduction, and hump correction done together. I’m the type who tends to exaggerate pain a bit, but maybe because I wasn’t nervous, it didn’t hurt at all more than I expected, and even after surgery there was almost no bleeding, and I didn’t feel dizzy or nauseous. My recovery was also on the faster side, so there wasn’t much inconvenience in daily life. Even after surgery, I went to the hospital often for progress checks, and I felt like they were thorough with care and examinations, so I was satisfied with that part too!! Overall, I feel like it was a good hospital from the consultation through post-op care. It’s now been a little over a month since surgery, and I’m satisfied because my nose doesn’t stand out noticeably, but my whole face looks more balanced. It’s exactly the natural-looking nose I wanted, so these days taking photos feels much more comfortable than before. I’m just waiting for more swelling to go down lol If you have any questions, ask in the comments! I’ll tell you everything I know
