A friend said she was getting double eyelid surgery, so while recommending this community to her, I came back on here for the first time in a while haha Looking at what I wrote a long time ago, I had all kinds of worries, but just like everyone said to reassure me, it was nothing major,, I think it’s good to just hold out and wait for 2 months! (dried columella,, nasal tip drooping,, swelling, etc.) I had surgery in 2024.03, and it’s already almost been 2 years..! I still haven’t had any major side effects, and sometimes if I pick my nose with tissue, a little blood gets on it, that’s about it. Since I didn’t put in anything like silicone, there’s no foreign-body sensation or discomfort! I managed the scar well, so only a faint white line is left, and if I had applied ointment consistently, even this probably wouldn’t be there haha (I only applied it diligently until about 2-3 months..) I’m not 10,000% satisfied with the nose shape, but considering my bone structure and image, I’m satisfied enough! I don’t think this is because of the clinic or the surgery, I think my bone structure itself is just unusually shaped(?) What I wish is that it were still a slightly short, high nose like right after surgery, but now it looks somewhat like a long nose, that’s about it,! Anyway, I’m still not thinking about revision surgery and I’m living satisfied. But when friends ask me about nose surgery, unless they have a really severe hump like me, I don’t strongly recommend nose surgery (because there may not be a dramatic change, or there’s a risk of side effects) I hope everyone looks into it carefully before surgery, and finishes recovery healthily too!!
