My original nose had a severe hump, was crooked, and had a drooping nasal tip.. The two photos from the top are my original nose (with contour shading though..). The ones below are after surgery. Ignoring the hump and crookedness, my goal was just bulbous nose correction, but they said my nostrils are on the smaller side so I didn’t need nostril/alar base reduction, and that cartilage suturing alone would be hard to see results from, so I followed the director’s recommendation and had the cartilage sutured with ear cartilage placed on top! Considering I didn’t have hump osteotomy and only had ear cartilage placed? I feel like it became naturally higher, so I’m satisfied.. It had been crooked, but after adding to the nasal tip, people around me actually said the crookedness doesn’t show, so I’m even more satisfied.. But for having had surgery, I wondered if the columella? or nasal tip had drooped, but I think this was the best possible for my nose since my philtrum isn’t exactly short..🥹 I had closed surgery, removed the tape on day 3, and went about daily life. The swelling lasted about a week.
