Recent update after surgery for a bulbous nose + short nose lol

Before surgery, my nose was… my nasal bridge was seriously way too low, and my nostrils/alar base were wide, so it was a bulbous nose Thinking about it now, I just want to forget those photos from back then… shudder… This time, when I decided to get rhinoplasty, I did want it to change noticeably, but I didn’t want it to look too artificial, and especially I absolutely wanted to avoid a pointy nasal tip. So I mainly went for consultations at clinics known for making the nasal tip look natural, and among them, I liked Director Choo at D-Day’s rhinoplasty style the most, so I decided on this place lol. To start with the conclusion… I really think I made the right choice doing it here hehe. After surgery, what felt most different was that the collapsed-looking feeling of my nasal tip from the front completely disappeared? And when I look at my side profile, my nasal bridge stands out just beautifully without being excessive, so I’m really satisfied. I also had alar reduction done together, and when I went for consultations, the directors at other clinics also said it would probably be better to do it together, so after thinking about it, I ended up doing it together! This is seriously… I think I did well getting it done together hehe. At first, honestly, it wasn’t a super dramatic change, so I did briefly think, uh… was this done correctly? But as time passed and I looked at it, the width of my nose definitely became much more refined than before, and it feels like the spreading to the sides when I smile has almost disappeared! The effect of alar reduction seems subtly really big…! lol. I guess it’s true that with rhinoplasty, you have to wait for time to pass to see the results. In the beginning, I liked it but still had some parts I worried about for no reason, but now it has settled well, and I’m satisfied because it seems to have turned out exactly with the feeling I wanted!! When designing the line, they looked really carefully at the height and angle that suited my face, and even the nasal bridge proportion, and I think that was reflected in the result exactly lol. Overall, it looks natural but makes my image feel more refined, so I really like my nose now… hehe
