I'm glad I had nose surgery (rhinitis surgery)

It has been exactly one month since my nose surgery. My nose was originally crooked because of a deviated septum, so one side was almost blocked and I had been living like that. I also had a dorsal hump and a somewhat bulbous nose, so my overall impression looked a bit harsh. So this time I had rhinitis surgery with Director Lee Geun-seok at [Clinic A], and the major swelling seems to have gone down almost completely. Honestly, since it is only one month out, the tip of my nose still feels like someone else's skin when I touch it, and there is still a tingling sensation. Because of the residual swelling on the bridge, my nose is a bit puffy in the mornings, and scabs keep forming inside, so managing it is somewhat annoying. Still, breathing is definitely much easier than before surgery, and I am fairly satisfied with how the shape looks in the mirror. The cost was not as high as I expected because the rhinitis surgery was covered by my actual expense insurance. The hospital had a dedicated team for insurance paperwork, so they told me exactly what documents I needed to get. For lazy people like me, that is probably the most practical benefit. The reason I felt I made the right choice was that last week I went out on what was basically a blind date. I had a little swelling and bruising, so I hesitated about going, but I went anyway. The other person told me my face looked very kind and clean, haha. I had never heard that before, and I found it a little surprising that one nose could change the whole vibe so much. I was worried it would look too obviously surgical, but maybe because the director drew such a straight line, it seems like I just have a naturally high bridge, which is a relief. I also feel like I am less tired at work than before. Before, I often felt mentally foggy because I had to breathe through my mouth due to nasal blockage, but these days I am doing a bit better. It is still too early to know until more swelling goes down, but so far both the function and the appearance seem fine.
