I am writing this with the earnest hope that no victim like me will ever occur again, and that no one will have to go through the same suffering I have.
Around December 2022, at 000 Dermatology Clinic, I was recommended 600 shots of Ultherapy and 300 shots of Thermage, and I received the procedure from Director ㄱ under sleep anesthesia. After the procedure, I experienced side effects and visited the clinic for a consultation, but Director ㄱ only said that it would return if I waited, and even now, about 1 year and 6 months after the procedure, I am suffering from serious side effects. These are the side-effect symptoms after the procedure. ㅡSunken cheeks. Fat loss. Loosening ㅡI developed pain in the sunken area of my left cheek that I had never felt in my life and did not have before the procedure ㅡI do not sweat from my face ㅡMy skin is so dry that it feels like it is drying out and tearing apart, making normal daily life impossible. Even when I wear makeup, my skin has become abnormal and cannot withstand it, and even if I supply moisture frequently, I am suffering from dryness that feels as if my skin is drying out and tearing apart. I am in a situation where I cannot even meet my family or people around me because I cannot bear to make them worry. Because of the side effects, my facial skin has aged rapidly, and I look easily 15 or 20 years older than people my age. Also, 000 Dermatology Clinic violated the Medical Service Act by refusing to issue my medical records on the same day. Due to side effects after the procedure, I requested same-day issuance of my medical records from the dermatology clinic, but 000 Dermatology Clinic refused same-day issuance, and even after two police officers came to the scene because I reported a violation of the Medical Service Act, 000 Dermatology Clinic ultimately refused same-day issuance. I want to ask 000 Dermatology Clinic. Even after the police came, why could you not issue them on the same day until the end, and what was the “reason for refusal”? I am curious what you were trying to “conceal” regarding the medical records. Below, I am attaching the 112 dispatch record from that situation. Also, while on the phone with me, 000 Dermatology Clinic told an outright lie and denied responsibility, saying that they had issued my medical records to me on the same day in relation to the issuance of the medical records. I also have recorded evidence. 000 Dermatology Clinic avoided addressing the side-effect symptoms, and because of the hospital’s changed attitude before and after the procedure and the side effects, I requested a refund, but I was refused. With a devastated heart, I asked them to refund at least the 600 shots of Ultherapy, not even the full total cost of the procedure, but even a refund for the 600 shots of Ultherapy was refused. After the procedure, my life was ruined, and several times a day I feel like I want to end my life. I cannot go back to how I was before the procedure. I do not even know when I may recover, or whether I will be able to live a normal, ordinary life like before the procedure. I think this is something that can happen not only to me, but to anyone, so I am courageously posting this because I believe no more victims like me should occur.
