These days, whenever I wash my face in the morning and look in the mirror, I often think, uh… was this always my nose? lol My hump wasn’t originally extremely large, but whenever I took photos, a subtle shadow would appear around the middle of the nasal bridge, and it kept bothering me. Even if it looked fine from the front, when I turned even slightly to an angle, the nasal bridge looked interrupted, and I disliked how it made my impression look dull. On top of that, my nasal tip was round and blunt, so overall it had a teddy-bear-nose kind of image, which stressed me out the most. So my goal was just one thing: not a nose that was overly high or obvious, but a clean, masculine straight line. I didn’t want people to think, “He obviously got surgery,” but wanted a natural male straight nose that would look more like, “Oh, his nose is nice.” The surgery involved hump nose correction + implant + bulbous nose correction + alar reduction, and that’s how it was done. During the consultation, we also talked about not being overly ambitious and just refining the line to suit my face. Now that 3 months have passed, most of the swelling is gone, and it feels like the line has settled stably. The nasal bridge has been smoothed out, and since it no longer looks interrupted in the middle or casts a shadow like before, it comes out much cleaner in photos too. When I see it from the side or at a 45-degree angle, the line falls really nicely, so I end up looking at it one more time for no reason lol If you want a clean, masculine nose line without going overboard, I think refining it in a natural direction like I did is also a good option.
