<Why I Decided to Have Surgery>8 years ago, I had Aquafilling filler injected into both breasts twice, 100 cc on each side each time.At first I was satisfied, but after a few years, my breasts started to become firm overall, and especially on the left side, I could feel hard lumps here and there, so the texture felt very uncomfortable.
At first, I only considered filler removal, but I was worried about the volume loss after removal and the shape looking like a deflated balloon, so I couldn’t decide easily. I also felt burdened by the idea of removing it by directly incising the filler area or through an inframammary fold incision. I hesitated because I was afraid the scars might stand out when looking at my breasts.
Then, during a consultation with Director Kim Min-young at Fore Plastic Surgery, I heard the explanation that “filler removal and augmentation can be done at the same time through only an underarm incision,” and I finally decided to go ahead.

<Day of Surgery>Before the surgery, I had another design session and consultation with the director, and just like during the first consultation, she listened carefully to my opinions without rushing, which made me trust her even more.
I was very nervous in the operating room, but the medical staff kept speaking to me warmly and taking care of me, so I felt much more at ease.
When I opened my eyes in the recovery room after surgery, I was extremely cold, but the pain was more tolerable than I expected, and I could lift my arms much better than I had worried I would. I was discharged around 6 p.m. that day with drainage tubes in place, and I was even able to start working right away from the next evening.
Since the hospital was close to my home, I went almost every day for aftercare, and each time, the director checked everything one by one, changed the tape herself, and I could ask any questions right away, so it felt really reassuring!

<1 Week After Surgery>My body became comfortable enough for daily life, and above all, the feeling of liberation from having the Aquafilling filler removed from inside my body was really huge.I had always had chronic fatigue and chronic inflammation, but after the filler removal, the inflammation decreased and my skin visibly improved too. Truly... please make sure to remove Aquafilling filler!!
As the major swelling went down, the breast shape started to show, and I could feel the right side gradually becoming softer. On the left side, infiltration had occurred across multiple layers, so because they had to remove the spread-out filler, the surgery took longer and the removal area was larger, so it was firmer than the right side.
After surgery, they also showed me the photos taken during the endoscopic surgery. In my case, they said the left side in particular was very difficult because there were hidden fillers tucked away in many areas, but with the endoscope, they removed as much as possible, even the filler in lump-like form hidden deep inside the tissue.

<1 Month After Surgery>Now almost all the swelling has gone down, and the breast shape is becoming more and more natural.When I gather my breasts with my hands, the cleavage forms beautifully, and I wanted the size to be a little larger than my breasts had been before breast surgery when I still had filler, and I’m satisfied because it is exactly as much as I wanted.
The texture has also become much softer compared with week one, and in the morning, right after waking up, it feels slightly firm, but as I move around, by around midday it feels like it naturally loosens up again.
The left side still feels a little heavier and firmer than the right, but compared with right after surgery, the shape and texture are much softer, and it’s improving day by day, so I’m looking forward to it becoming much softer at 2 to 3 months☺️
Raising my arms has become comfortable enough that I can stretch as much as I want, and my whole-body movement has become much freer. However, I’m still being careful with exercise intense enough to make the implants move!
