Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

2-month review after contouring + posterior and lower canthoplasty at Girin

Now that it has been about 2 months since facial contouring surgery, sensation in my lower lip has almost returned, and I feel like sensation in my chin is gradually coming back too. Around day 5, the swelling went down a lot, and after that it felt like the swelling gradually and naturally kept going down. Now the corners of my mouth lift well when I smile, so my facial expressions have become much more natural. When I touch my face with my hands, I definitely feel like the facial contour has become smaller. I have still been cautious and could not exercise, but I think if I start exercising along with dieting from next week, the swelling will go down a lot. Maybe because my facial line has been refined, my impression feels softer too, and maybe thanks to the eye-widening surgery, people around me have told me I look a little younger. My eyes barely had swelling, so I thought they would settle quickly, but the scar and wound areas still seem pretty severe. The doctor told me that right now is when the scars look the worst, so I'm not too worried. Even now, it hurts if I close my eyes tightly or touch them, and it still feels unnatural when I smile. The inconvenience after surgery was that a lot of protein-like?? stuff formed in my eyes, so sometimes my vision looked cloudy and I wiped it away often. Because of the scars, my eyes feel like they look droopy, but once only the scars heal, compared to my eyes before, I like my eye shape much more. Facial contouring was really painful and I struggled a lot, but honestly the canthoplasty was not painful and was manageable. My small eyes that looked stuffy and my cheekbones were always complexes of mine, so I have no regrets about having surgery, and I'm so curious to see my face once it settles quickly.
