Does surgery normally take 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours?

I’m doing it on Saturday.. They said that’s how long it takes.. Wow... I thought it would take 30 minutes. But if the surgery is at 7:30, and I rest for 2 hours after surgery, it’ll be past midnight. Seriously wow wow wow.. -_- Li
