2-month review of Mentor Smooth

2-month review after Mentor Smooth surgery. I had surgery with Mentor Smooth implants, 400 cc on each side, and it has now been a little over 2 months. From the day of surgery through week 2, there was upper-breast fullness, and the upper part of my breasts felt quite firm. Sometimes I forgot that I had to be careful not to tense my chest muscles too much, so I tensed them and felt a tingling sensation, which made me anxious that capsular contracture might have developed. But at 1 month, I received aftercare and scar injections, and the director also checked my progress. He said there were no problems with the surgical sites and that tingling symptoms in the breasts can appear until 3 months, so I didn’t need to worry, which reassured me. Still, until things stabilize, I’m going to stay conscious of not applying too much force. Also, when I lay down, I had pain on the side of my right breast, and he said that can also be a symptom that appears until 3 to 6 months. Now that I’m at 2 months, the side pain has almost disappeared even when I lie down, and although I occasionally have a dull, achy and tingling feeling, the frequency is definitely lower than before. The upper fullness I worried about the most was bulging like acorns up to just below the clavicle from about weeks 1 to 4, but it gradually moved downward, and now at 2 months it has come down to around the accessory breast area, so I think a more natural breast shape has formed. The feel was firm at first, so I was anxious wondering what if it was capsular contracture, but now I can feel that it has become soft and squishy, so I’m looking forward to the feel getting even better at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and beyond. My current size after surgery is 75D based on a regular bra. I’m curious whether it will shrink more once the swelling goes down, or whether the skin will stretch and the size will be maintained.
