I had surgery with Motiva implants through an inframammary incision. Honestly, at first after surgery, it felt like my breasts were about to launch forward, they were so firm and the pressure was intense, and sleeping was especially the hardest. The pain was worst for about two days, and after that it definitely got better. As the swelling gradually went down, by the one-month mark I thought, ah, the shape is starting to settle now.
Because my job requires me to use my arms a lot, in the beginning, the swelling in my upper breasts especially rose a lot. But during follow-ups, they explained that this was a natural process, so I didn’t worry unnecessarily by myself.
I only rested for 3 days after surgery and then went back to work, and although I was careful, daily life was more manageable than I expected.
It’s been about a month since surgery now, and every time I go for a follow-up, the director comes in personally to check my condition and explain things. That is surprisingly really reassuring. He is very kind.
It was my first breast surgery, so I was really scared, but now I think I should have done it sooner. It’s not fully complete yet, but I think it will become more natural with time.
