Eye Surgery Reviews

My Go Youn-jung Eye Goal Was a Huge Success (Before/After Photos + Full Consultation Summary)

It’s been 2 weeks since surgery, and I genuinely like it so much that I’m already posting a review.... lol The swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet, so only use this as reference if you want to! First of all!! My eyes weren’t originally small! I had monolids, but my eyes themselves were always on the bigger side. Still, having a line looked prettier on my eyes, so when doing makeup I’d go around using double-eyelid tape and double-eyelid glue, yep. After doing this for years, I started thinking that if I was going to keep doing this, surgery would probably be better, so I eventually started looking into clinics! I wasn’t the type to rush into surgery, so I just lurked through tons of clinic reviews, but there was one place I’d liked for a long time, so I don’t think I really struggled over the decision lol The review photos and the eyelid lines were exactly the style I like, so I went to the consultation thinking that if there wasn’t a big difference in person, I should just do it without overthinking. After the consultation, it seemed good, so I confidently booked it on the spot^^ What I heard during the consultation was that my eyes have almost no fat + they’re already on the bigger side, so they said it would be better to create a natural line with a non-incisional method rather than an incision. They said if I got greedy and went for something dramatic, it could actually look unnatural, so I was like okay okay and decided on a natural in-out line. Without double eyelids, I look a bit masculine, you know...? So I wanted a direction that would cover that well? Shamelessly, I said I hoped the line would come out in a Go Youn-jung style + with a feminine feel, and the director seemed confident lol It hasn’t even been 2 weeks since surgery yet, but the swelling has really been going down fast lol Of course, a big part of it is probably that the director did a good job, but I’m amazed and wondering if I was somehow born with a body type suited for surgery. Once the swelling completely goes down, I think it’ll settle into exactly the line they designed during the consultation. As long as it doesn’t get too thin like an inner double eyelid from here...! I’m still recovering, but so far I have zero regrets, and I do wonder why I didn’t do it sooner. I wrote this as my thoughts came, so the post is kind of all over the place lol Anyway, the conclusion is that I’m satisfied because I escaped the masculine look and became kind of Go Youn-jung-ish (eyes only)! It’s week 2, and once all the swelling goes down, I’ll post again! I think you can use this to look at it lol If I still like the line 100% even after the swelling completely goes down, I’ll live treating the director who did my surgery as my second father lol
