Now that I’m 2-3 weeks post-op, overall, I’m very satisfied.!!
Unlike other hospitals, the CT scan was also done for free, and after the scan, I had a brief consultation with the director about the surgical method. Then the consultation manager explained the cost, surgical method, insurance processing because it was rhinitis surgery, post-op care, and so on in detail. They only told me exactly what I needed and didn’t pressure me to add any other procedures, so I trusted them. After thinking it over, I booked the surgery right away that same day!
Maybe because it was functional nose surgery, I had a pain-control device attached for 3 days, so I had no pain at all. I had cotton packing in my nose for about 4 days, so breathing was uncomfortable, but once I thought of it as just having a blocked nose from a cold, it was bearable. Right after surgery, clear blood flowed out once, but after that, there was no bleeding, so I didn’t have to change the cotton under my nose very often!! Looking at reviews from people who had nose surgery, many said they bled enough to soak the cotton, but I didn’t, so when I asked the nurse during treatment, she said the surgical area had been finished cleanly and there was almost nothing to disinfect, which made me feel relieved haha. I did go in often for treatment after surgery, but they were kind every time and took good care of me, so I think it helped me recover quickly.
Before surgery, I said I didn’t want my eyes to look close together because my nose became higher, but after removing the splint, there was no appearance of my eyes looking close together at all. My nose became higher, and especially, it became the naturally pretty nose I had wanted most, so I’m very, very satisfied!!
