Motiva Preservé

<Day of surgery> Motiva Preservé (Mini 220/185) I really fell asleep so smoothly without even realizing it, and when I opened my eyes to someone calling me, I was in the recovery room! I usually get cold easily, so I really liked that warm air was coming out from inside the blanket I almost kept falling asleep. I was slowly getting up using my arm strength, and the nurse immediately told me to follow along with the stretches, so I was a bit surprised, but I just did them anyway.. lol I didn’t feel much pain or soreness, but my chest felt heavy and compressed, so big movements somehow felt scary and I was cautious! Even with Preservé, I think it would be best to rest completely for about 2 days. Regardless of anesthesia, driving on the same day is too much! At home, I took my evening meds and spent the time doing childcare somehow, but felt rather weak and kept getting sleepy. There was no crazy pain. But while sleeping, I felt uncomfortable at dawn, tossed and turned, then went out to the living room sofa and fell asleep there. More than the surgical pain, since I usually sleep on my side and on my stomach, it was hard to sleep only lying on my back.

<Day 1> Went to a kindergarten information session😅 A schedule about this level is possible. Things like sitting or tasks that do not require much strength! Carefully tried driving for my child’s ballet pickup/drop-off and to a nearby mart. Followed the arm stretches the hospital taught me. I couldn’t hold my child or dog. The hardest part of Day 1 was! The itchy taping and the upper band.

<Day 2_ First hospital visit after surgery> It became a little easier to get up in the morning. It still felt hard, tight, and tingly with discomfort, but the intensity decreased by about half. Aside from the prescribed oral medication, I still did not take any painkillers. The skin below the inframammary incision throbbed slightly, like it was a bit bruised. First hospital visit! Received hyperbaric oxygen therapy + SmartLux care. The taping that was originally scheduled for Day 3 was removed one day early, and I wore a corrective bra! Ah, it felt so refreshing I saw my breasts for the first time after surgery. The nurse who removed the taping and explained the precautions was very kind. She told me swelling would be at its highest until Week 1. I felt relieved because the upper fullness wasn’t severe.

<Day 3_Saturday> When I sleep and wake up in the morning, it feels hard and swollen! Still, it was tolerable without taking Taksen. My arms became a bit easier to use than yesterday. I moved around a lot while helping with my husband’s restaurant work. Other than a clumped feeling around the right accessory breast area, there was no major pain.

<Day 4_Sunday> The hard swollen feeling in the morning decreased more! I heard swelling would be heavy until Day 7, but I didn’t really feel that.

<Day 5> The time of day when I feel the breast surgery the most is the moment I wake up in the morning. The corrective bra felt slightly tighter. I wondered if I had swollen more. Still, the heavy feeling in the morning gets better day by day, so it’s tolerable. The Taksen I bought along with everything else is still completely untouched. I’m very excited to see how it will be in a month.

<Day 6_First day back at work> Drove for 1 hour. When using my arms, there is slight stiffness, and a clumped feeling around the right accessory breast area where the larger implant was placed. Breast sensation is similar to the first day of surgery (left 80% / right 60%). The right side had 35 cc more inserted. Slight pain when the corrective bra touches the inframammary incision area. I wondered, should I have gone a little bigger? But then I felt this size is right since I have to live with it for life.

<Week 1_ Hospital visit> Stitches removed. The director quickly checked the inframammary incision scars and left. The treatment-room staff explained the things I was curious about and the precautions in detail and kindly. After receiving hyperbaric oxygen + capsule care, the clumped feeling improved. They tightened the corrective bra by one more hook, and I decided to keep wearing the upper band a bit longer!
