I had my first surgery using donor rib cartilage and ear cartilage, and only had my nasal tip operated on, but even after more than 5 months, it’s sooooo uncomfortable Even when I’m not thinking about it, my nose feels heavy all day. I’ve seen a lot of posts about pressure from silicone, but I don’t think I’ve seen cases like mine where someone only had the nasal tip done and felt this much discomfort I guess you could say there’s a strong fixed feeling. My nose feels so heavy, stuffy, and tight that every once in a while it feels so suffocating I seriously feel like I’m going craaazy. Is it because donor rib cartilage is hard? I went to SSO recently, and after touching my nose, they said it felt hard for being 5 months post-op and that my recovery seemed slow, so I should delay removal as much as possible. When I asked if there was a possibility of inflammation, they said they didn’t think so. Still, since I do have pain too, they told me to go ask my original clinic But of course I feel like my original clinic will say it’s definitely not that.. Anyway, should I at least go to a nearby ENT? Or does everyone go through this level of stuffiness at 5 months post-op? Please share what your experience was like when you had surgery………… I’m enduring it while just waiting for removal, but I’m worried it might be inflammation..
