When I was 20, I knew nothing and had a nose surgery after a consultation on the same day. I was so young and ignorant that I did not even know there were hospitals that specialized in nose surgery, and I just thought that if they said it was possible, then that must be how it was, so I went ahead. Looking back now, they were specialized in fat grafting. I remember that even at the time, they said to put in silicone now and fill it with fat 1 to 2 years later. They inserted a large L-shaped silicone implant, but since I am a woman with a not-very-large face, it did not suit my face at all. For 2 years I heard things like it looked too obviously done and my nose was too big, and because of anxiety about side effects and stress, I had revision surgery. In the revision consultation, the doctors said the silicone seemed to have been inserted asymmetrically and that because of the silicone the cartilage had become distorted, so even after revision it did not improve, but I am not sure whether that was a matter of the revision surgeon's skill.
