I went with my mom and aunt for consultations about middle-aged eye surgery. They seemed fairly conservative, but they also seemed to speak honestly. When my aunt mentioned outer canthoplasty, they said that for eyes, you should only look at the functional part and did not really recommend it. For my mom, they only recommended brow lift plus the back part, and for my aunt they only talked about forehead lift. Even when talking about other areas, they seemed firm and did not recommend them. In one way that feels honest, but in another way it comes across as very conservative. It did not feel extremely kind either, and it felt like they were somewhere on the boundary of rude. I could not see the forehead lift doctor because he was busy.
