My nose is in a completely ruined extreme state because of multiple revision nose surgeries. The columella is completely gone, the indentation is severe, and the nostrils have also become narrow. Overall it’s the worst kind of extreme nose, so in many places I was told maybe I shouldn’t have surgery at all. I kept going for consultations, traveling 3 hours from outside the city, and after more than 20 consultations, this director was the kindest. They were also honest about the parts that couldn’t be done, and they told me frankly about expectations and success rates even if I had surgery. The consultation was very professional and lasted a really long time, and the first thing the director said when I walked in was that I must have had a hard time coming such a long way. When I was talking about the difficult parts that couldn’t be done in the middle of the consultation, I got so hopeless and depressed that they probably thought I might cry, so they pulled out tissues and handed them to me. I was so moved by that human kindness that the tears I’d been holding back just burst out. The director was truly the kindest and most humane of all the directors I had consulted with so far. And I was also very grateful for the honest and sincere consultation. I definitely recommend going to this hospital for a consultation at least once.
