Eye Surgery Considerations

Homme & Femme community review

Because of several revision surgeries, I developed inflammation in my nose, the columella sank in, the nostrils narrowed, and the bridge became lumpy, so my nose was completely ruined. I traveled 3 hours from outside the city and went to more than 20 consultations, and even went to a university hospital. Most of the feedback was negative, saying it was a difficult nose with a high degree of difficulty and that surgery could make it worse, so maybe I shouldn’t do it, and so on. But the director here was very confident and said it wasn’t that difficult and that it was a surgery that could turn out well. Ironically, because he sounded so confident, I, who had been feeling hopeless the whole time, was a bit taken aback and wondered whether I should trust it. The director was extremely kind, took a long time for the consultation, and was professional and honest. The price was also the cheapest among all the hospitals I went to, probably because they didn’t use autologous costal cartilage and instead used buttock dermis. If everything turns out well like the director said, that would be an amazing deal, but after going to consultation after consultation and hearing different things everywhere, saying it’s difficult, I still can’t help being conflicted even though he’s so confident. Still, he has a long career and probably really has a lot of experience and has performed this surgery many times, so anyway, it’s worth going for a consultation.
