It’s been one month since I had closed rhinoplasty with diced cartilage inserted. As expected, the biggest advantages are that it doesn’t leave a scar and that there’s no nasal packing or splint. Since they didn’t put in packing, I was so comfortable it almost felt like I hadn’t had surgery, and I can’t even imagine how uncomfortable it would’ve been if they had used packing. The nose line also came out exactly the way I wanted. People around me have been telling me a lot lately that my nose is pretty, yeah. I think I made the right choice getting the surgery. Since closed rhinoplasty definitely has more limited visibility than open rhinoplasty, I feel like if you want it to be successful, it’s definitely right to go somewhere with lots of closed rhinoplasty cases.
