I got the injection because the swelling from my double eyelid surgery was not going down for a long time. In conclusion, it is effective for simple swelling. However, it had minimal effect on one eye where there was adhesion caused by scarring. When I asked whether the effect would last permanently, I think they said it was not permanent, but the eye that simply had a swelling issue has not gone back to how it was before the injection, and the effect is still maintained.
