I got the injections because the swelling from my double eyelid surgery did not go down for a long time. The conclusion is that they are effective for simple swelling. However, the effect was minimal on one eye where there was adhesion caused by scarring. When I asked whether the effect lasts permanently, I think they said it is not permanent? But the eye that only had a swelling issue has not gone back to how it was before the injections, and the effect is being maintained.
