I had my first double eyelid surgery here, but they did not understand my eye needs at all. At the time, I just did as they told me, but thinking about it now, I regret it. My eyes also have a lot of thick upper eyelid tissue, so I should not have had non-incisional buried sutures. After doing buried sutures, the double eyelid looked like it was floating separately and it was not pretty at all. After 1 year, I just had it undone. The epicanthoplasty was small, but it opened downward, so now I am looking into hospitals to see if I should get restoration. For my eyes, even setting a large double eyelid line would not have worked, and it absolutely had to be incisional. The epicanthoplasty also should have been done more toward an upper epicanthoplasty.
