During the consultation, the doctor looked at the ultrasound and explained in quite a lot of detail which area should be operated on to suit my face shape best and even how the line would change, so I liked that. Because I understood it, I think making the decision was much easier. After surgery, for about 2-3 weeks, I only felt slightly uncomfortable when I lifted my chin or opened my mouth wide, and other than that, it barely interfered with daily life. I think recovery was faster than expected too. It’s been about 3 months since I had stage 1 thick neck surgery, and even when I lower my head, my double chin doesn’t fold like before…
